Hexagon has already combined technology components and expertise from the companies to develop solutions for reverse engineering and on-machine measurement. Spring Technologies, acquired in 2018, provides CNC simulation technology for G-code verification and workflow optimization.
The 2017 acquisition of FASys brought tooling, resource management software and shop-floor automation and integration expertise into Hexagon’s portfolio.
Hexagon acquired Vero Software, a specialist in CAD/CAM software, in 2014 and has continued to expand and diversify its offering.
Each will adopt Hexagon’s corporate identity. Vero Software, a part of Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence’s Production Software business, is rebranding, along with FASys and Spring Technologies.
